Get a Board-Certified Trial Lawyer On Your Side
Even among this exclusive group, Attorney Vaughan stands out with other awards and honors, including winning Lawyer of the Year from Best Lawyers.
Attorney Charles V. Vaughan is board-certified in Civil Trial Law and Civil Practice Advocacy by the
National Board of Trial Advocacy. This exclusive certification – held by fewer than 20 attorneys in Indiana – is only awarded to experienced attorneys who have demonstrated skill and expertise in the courtroom and passed a rigorous testing process.
Unlike doctors, lawyers are not required to be board-certified – this is an additional credential that only a handful of attorneys hold. Attorney Vaughan chose to become board-certified because we are always looking for ways to fight more effectively for our clients.
Now A Film Adaptation
The Ryan White Case
Vaughan & Vaughan was counsel for one of the most highly publicized cases in America in the 1980s, the Ryan White case. Charles R. Vaughan and Charles V. Vaughan fought for Ryan’s rights against discrimination for having AIDS in a small school in Indiana. This case had been heavily covered by the media and has since been adapted into a film in which the Actor George C. Scott portrays Charles R. Vaughan, the lawyer defending Ryan White.
